Donna Chase, DVM, CCRP
Dr. Donna Chase, originally from Connecticut, graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Pathobiology. She attended Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in Boston directly after completing her undergraduate work, where she obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Donna settled for 10 years as a companion animal practitioner at Salem Animal Hospital in Salem, NH. Her next adventure was to start her own companion animal hospital in a small town west of Manchester.
Twenty-one years later, Dr. Donna decided on a new course. She sold her practice and became certified in canine rehabilitation through the University of Tennessee. Here we are now at the Veterinary Rehabilitation and Arthritis Center!
Family life includes her husband, two grown children, several cats and dogs, a parrot, and multiple horses. Spare time usually finds her in the barn!
Mindy Randall – Veterinary Technician
Mindy brings over 30 years of experience in the veterinary field to the Veterinary Rehab Center and has been working at the center since it opened.
She has worked at many veterinary facilities in Europe and the United States and brings experience in working with many different species, including companion animals, pocket pets, zoo animals and marine mammals.
In her free time, Mindy has a special interest in photography, especially pet and landscape photos. Her other interests include trail running, ultramarathons, and backpacking in the mountains. Her rescue dog, Roxy, joined the family to help keep Mindy company on her trail runs. Roxy is such a snuggle bug and loves her daily runs with Mindy.
Elena Oropallo – Certified Veterinary Technician
Prior to becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), Elena worked in the (human) medical field in many different states and countries. After over 20 years she decided to change her focus and go back to school to obtain her CVT. She has loved this new direction and her patients are now much cuter!
Elena settled in NH 13 years ago and worked as a CVT in general practice and emergency medicine. She loves working closely with pets and helping their owners to give them the best possible health and well-being.
Elena loves to travel pretty much anywhere she hasn’t been before. Although, she is always happy to come home to beautiful New Hampshire where she can explore places with her pup Nora, who is always up for an adventure!
Becky Abbott – Veterinary Technician
Becky and her husband live in Manchester, New Hampshire with Summit, their mixed breed dog, and Eskimo and Mabel, both domestic shorthaired cats.
Right after high school, Becky attended Vermont Technical College to get her Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology. She worked for 12 years as a technician at a small veterinary practice in Lowell, then for two years at the Humane Society for Greater Nashua. Realizing she wanted a change she became a Canine Rehabilitation Aide at a practice in Waltham for almost a year. Longing for a job closer to home, she heard of Veterinary Rehabilitation and Arthritis Center and happily accepted a position as a Veterinary Technician.
In her free time Becky’s favorite thing to do is to hike with her dog, Summit, husband and friends. She enjoys spending time at the beach, with family and friends, and of course her kitties at home. She loves to volunteer for the Humane Society for Greater Nashua but her newest adventure will be volunteering with Summit as a registered Pet Partners Therapy Dog.
